WORKSHOPS AND MILONGA

Constantin on the fascination of Tango Argentino:

Tango Argentino lies within a mutual and honest intimacy, which both partners are giving to each other by means of the music. In dim lights you are filled with overwhelming emotion, as if you were carried away.

Moments of bliss just happen. How well you dance doesn‘t matter. My tango is a traditional salon style with contemporary elements blended into it, influenced most by Gustavo Naveira, Susanna Miller, and Metin Yazir. When teaching I focus on precise technique just as much as on communication and musicality.

SAT 2nd JULY

Workshops on Saturday take place in the Dance Studio, Sports Hall, Brighton and Hove High School, Temple Gardens, off Montpelier Road. Limited free parking available on site.

3.30-5PM WORKSHOP 1:

TANGO FINE TUNING - dynamics and quality in the walk and embrace Tuning or fine tuning the DYNAMICS and QUALITY in your dance, depending on your level

5.30-7pm WORKSHOP 2:

3 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER - vals patterns that flow

We do not have a milonga this evening, but weather dependant, we will be dancing from 9.30pm ish on – BRIGHTON SEAFRONT BANDSTAND – please feel free to join us for this informal gathering.

SUNDAY 3RD JULY

All events on Sunday take place at The Lansdowne Place Hotel, Lansdowne Place, Brighton. You can park all day in the hotel car park for £5. Contact reception on arrival. www.lansdowneplace.co.uk

Constantin as part of his teaching pedagogy will conduct at least one partner change during each workshop. This is not optional.
